The range of music the children are encouraged to learn is superb. The concerts really do build confidence and provide an excellent incentive to learn an instrument. A holistic approach gives greater depth to musical education and appreciation. The music school is very effective whilst being enormous fun. My daughter would only have continued with something for this long that she was truly enjoying!

The highlight of her week is her morning with Active in Music. Being immersed in a musical atmosphere, with all the other children of all different ages and the teaching style of her instrumental tutors makes daily practice so much easier.
The concerts and festivals, having started right from the beginning, have given her such confidence. Listening to the older children and tutors perform makes music so exciting and has given her real understanding of what she can achieve.
The group lessons, whilst giving her a solid grounding in theory and other musical elements, are such fun and have brought music to all aspects of her life.
