Pupils Win At Festival - March 2009

PUPILS at a music school have once again been celebrating their success at the Oswestry Youth Music Festival, which took place at the beginning of March.

Katie Green, Edward Stapleton and Henry Weekes, all from Shrewsbury and studying piano with the Shropshire School of Classical Music (based at Shrewsbury High Prep School), took first place in their respective classes at the festival.

Edward and Henry returned on the presentation day to play again and collect their trophies, which were awarded for coming first in some selected classes.

The three youngsters have continued a long line of previous Shrewsbury winners.
